Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the Administrative Assistant for Terrestrial Biodiversity Program, Jakarta based on our USAID LESTARI project. USAID’s LESTARI project supports the Government of Indonesia to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and conserve biodiversity in carbon rich and biologically significant forest and mangrove ecosystems.
Job Summary: s/he will work under the coordination of the Partner Coordination Specialist-USAID LESTARI Project. S/he will assist the implementation of the Terrestrial Biodiversity Program such as manage document and data on planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Terrestrial Biodiversity Program; assist in preparing materials of implementation and reports of Terrestrial Biodiversity Program; preparing the concept of reports and grant administration reports; and facilitating the preparation of coordination meetings of the implementation of program cooperation.
Requirements include previous experience in a similar position for USAID project or other international donor projects; has ability in filing management, secretarial and information technology; demonstrated ability to work on a team as a team player as well as to multi-task (being able to focus on more than one assignment as a time); strong communication skills in both spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia-fluency in English preferred (minimum TOEFL ITP 600 or TOEFL IBT); has ability to write quickly and succinctly in order to meet deadlines and provide timely report/letters/working papers; has basic knowledge about the implementation of foreign cooperation; familiar with USAID procedures and regulations is an advantage; and demonstrated ability to play collegial and leadership roles working on multi-disciplinary teams. University degree in related field required.
